Effective November 3, 2026
Accessibility
Everyone should be able to find their seat here. Our goal is WCAG 2.2 AA.
What we have done
- A skip link at the top of every page, and a visible focus outline for keyboard users.
- One main heading per page, with headings and landmarks in order.
- Color contrast checked against the AA standard, and text that stays readable when the flame passes behind it.
- A Pause flame button beside the moving video. The video also pauses when it is off screen.
- With reduced motion turned on in your device settings, nothing is pinned or animated, the video stays on a still image, and all twelve programs appear as a plain list.
- Forms with labels above each input and errors written next to the field they belong to.
- Every program name on the wall is a real button. Tabbing to one moves the page to that seat, and a Skip the seats link jumps past the wall.
Known limits
Links in the Instagram section open Instagram, which has its own accessibility. The flame video has no audio and carries no information, so it has no captions or description. The scrolling wall has been tested with keyboards and automated checks. It has not yet been tested with people who use screen readers every day.
